If you want to give birth to your true self,
you are going to have to dig deep down into that body of yours and let your soul howl.

What is 5Rhythms?
5Rhythms® is a movement meditation developed by Gabrielle Roth in 1970's, drawing from her background in dance, theater, shamanic traditions, and Gestalt Therapy. It focuses on exploring various rhythms in dance and movement to support self-discovery, authentic expression, and personal growth in real life.
The framework of five rhythms – Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness offers a structured and accessible way for us to explore different aspects of ourselves. Each rhythm is a teacher of unique wisdom, opening us into the dynamic creativity and depth of being human.
To heal is to become awake. The inquiry is: how can we become awake and truly alive when it is so easy to numb up, space out, disassociate, or get distracted and lost in our overwhelmed thinking mind?
I say, first we must learn how to BE PRESENT with ourselves. If we are not even here, whose life are we living or dreaming in? Our body is where the present moment lives. So, let's begin with the body.
No matter what I do, deep down, I am a seeker of what awakens us into vitality, love, and purpose. Life is one great movement practice - moving through its ups and downs as we would on the dance floor: rooted in presence, listen to instincts, open to connection, and express from heart and gut. To me, being awake isn’t a fancy idea - it is something that rattles in our bones, pulses in our veins, if we dare to listen. It is in how we move and speak, how we encounter one another, how we hold joy and sorrow in the same breath. Whether in a therapy room, in a kitchen, or on the streets, I believe embodied presence is what turns ordinary moments into the extraordinary.
I'm committed to creating a trauma-sensitive, inclusive space for all bodies, where the dynamic emergence of the raw, the tender, the wild, the bliss, everything in between and beyond can unfold and be held in love, unconditionally.
To practice this dynamic dance movement meditation is to practice coming home to ourselves.
Together, we can dance each other home.
Hope to move with you soon!
May all beings be happy and healthy.
May all beings be love and loved.
May all beings be truly free.
