About the event
Forces of Nature Womxn’s Circle
5Rhythms® Dance + Creative Exploration
🔮 Theme of 11/1 🔮 SHAPESHIFTER - a ritual of embodiment, creativity, and becoming
“I take pleasure in my transformations. I look quiet and consistent, but few know how many women there are in me.” - Anais Nin Inside every woman lives a shapeshifter, the one who moves between identities, energies, and roles with instinctive wisdom, yet often remains hidden. In this circle, we’ll invite these many selves into motion, breath, and visibility through dance, art-making, and shared reflection.
Arrive in your unique intentional adornment: an outfit, a piece of accessory, or an object that helps you embody a part of yourself longing to be seen. Bring extra pieces to share too! Together, we’ll honor the hidden, enliven the visible, and celebrate the fluid, transformative power of becoming many.
Forces of Nature Women’s Circle is a 4-hour workshop where we journey through 5Rhythms® dance movement meditation and creative exploration. Brings snacks and drinks to share for the community connection time toward the end.
This is a calling.
A return to the wild, instinctual power that’s been living inside us all along.
Right beneath the noises of culture, the weight of “shoulds”, the tight cages of expectations - we are our own force of nature.
What if we could simply be with one another without having to perform, prove, and pretend? What if, instead of competing or comparing, we let our presence become the sweet, fierce, healing medicine we each need?
This is a space for all women. All colors, all shapes, all stories are welcomed here.
Do we dare to admit: we actually need each other to be truly free? Freedom is sweeter when we share it. 👣 Very important: We ask you to arrival in the studio 5-10 minutes earlier to support the group coherence. 👣 Registration is required. No drop ins. 👣 This is a substance-free, scent-free space. 🎟️ Ticket Options:
$75 General Admission
$65 Early Bird before 10/25
$55 Scholarship (Please apply Total 5 tickets available.)
✨ This workshop qualifies three (3) prerequisite hours towards the 5Rhythms® Teacher Training path. Facilitators:
Qibei is a 5Rhythms® teacher, holistic healer, and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) - though boxes like these never quite hold her. She moves between worlds: the clinical and the mystical, the tender and the fierce, the silent knowing of the bones and the unspeakable beauty of Spirit cracking open.
Born from early rupture and shaped by longing, she’s spent her life listening, deeply, to what aches, what awakens, and what wants to come alive. Dance, for her, is not performance. It’s prayer, medicine, and creative laboratory. Her work invites people out of numbness and into their own raw aliveness: the place where everything dances, where the wild heart remembers itself.
She believes embodied presence is what makes life juicy and magical. The sacred art of coming home to ourselves, through breath, movement, and the primordial intelligence pulsing through our veins. In her movement classes, Qibei creates a trauma-sensitive, inclusive place for all bodies, inviting the dynamic emergence of real human and beyond-human interplay.
Jennifer is an artist and a healing arts practitioner with a background that spans Expressive Arts Facilitation, Shamanism, and Energy Healing. She is passionate about calling upon creativity, intuition and embodiment as powerful allies for navigating our unique journeys. She considers herself a mystic and is deeply inspired by nature, the body, and the transformative power of art-making. She draws upon her 20 years of practice as a healing arts practitioner and artist to cultivate a compassionate, sacred, inclusive, and collaborative space for deep exploration and self-discovery.
