About the event
This is a 6-Week Relational Mindfulness Course to restore your natural capacity for presence, clarity, and connection. Meditation is often portrayed as a mysterious or difficult skill. The truth is, there isn't one way to meditate. If we can learn to understand the nature of attention and how to train it to return to where life is actually living, we'll see how mindfulness is already within us. In this course, rather than trying to fit ourselves into an ideal, we begin by meeting what’s already here: the breath, the body, the movement of the mind, and the rich experience of being alive and human.
Over six weeks, we will:
Explore how to actually meditate in a way that works for you, not how it’s “supposed” to look
Build a steady way to come back to the present moment, even when life feels busy or overwhelming
Develop a more easeful relationship with your thoughts (less getting lost in them, more noticing and returning)
Learn how to be with your emotions, without avoiding them nor drowning in them, but meeting them with care
Feel more connected to your body through breath, sensation, and simple awareness practices
Practice listening and being present with others, in relationships with others
Understand common challenges in meditation (restlessness, distraction, self-judgment)… and realize you’re not doing it wrong
Develop tools to navigate stress, reactivity, and difficult moments with more spaciousness and choice
Cultivate a sense of kindness and compassion toward yourself
Leave with simple home practices you can continue on your own
Each 2-hour in-person session blends teaching, guided practice, creative movement, partner inquiries, and group reflection, offering a warm, supportive space for beginners and returning practitioners alike.
The goal is, you’ll discover how to meditate in a way that feels natural and sustainable to YOU, while building the ability to be present with your breath, body, thoughts, and emotions. Along the way, you’ll develop more ease, clarity, and self-compassion, and learn how mindfulness can support you not just in the sitting, but in everyday life.

Cost:
$318 - $218 sliding scale. Please pay at your highest
Things To Know:
Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier for parking and walking to the room.
Please refrain from wearing any perfume or essential oils.
Bring: a meditation cushion if you'd like to sit on the floor. The venue has chairs.
Also bring a water bottle, a notebook, and pen.
